Refusing to Compromise Artistic Integrity

I thought it would be great to share with you a video created by Angelica Chan. She created this at age 16. She is a senior this upcoming school year. She has always had a passion for art and business which is why Walt Disney has become a role model for her. She interviewed me for this piece she created. Take a look:

I think she’s done a pretty good job!

Before researching, she  knew nothing of the struggle and failure Disney faced during the creation of iconic movies and characters. All that she knew was that his work has been appreciated world wide for many years. As she researched and began building the script for my documentary, she discovered that his journey was not as linear as she expected. It has inspired her to be bolder in every way, whether as an artist, a leader, or a business woman. She took the work to state competition, but I think what she learned will go far beyond that.
