Disney Skyliner Opens September 29th
Disney has announced that on September 29th of 2019 their Skyliner gondolas will officially begin transporting guests around Walt Disney World.
The Skyliner will connect guests to and from Disney’s Hollywood Studios & Epcot to Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Resort and the new Disney’s Riviera Resort, which opens in December of 2019.
While this is the official date, it would not be totally unsurprising if some of this was unofficially working earlier between certain points. It would certainly help with the opening of Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. But guests staying on that resort should not plan on that happening, as nothing official has been announced. Still efforts to preview it may still happen, so be on the look out.
