Update: Magic Kingdom
November 05, 2020
Christmas decorations are now throughout the entire Magic Kingdom. We go through the park to not only check out the holiday look, but to see what else is going on. From continued work on the exterior canopy of Tron, to attractions and offerings that are still not operating; the new “Now” feature on Disney Dining reservations that allow you to see what is available dining wise in the moment; the emptying of the Rivers of America; the arrival of Jingle Cruise and so much more!
You can find our podcast here on Podbean, iTunes, Spotify, MyTuner, and ListenNotes. Key notes and photos are below, but you’ll find most of my commentary on the podcast. Also, be sure to not only catch the video on YouTube. Be sure to subscribe so you get updates.

This setup which is shown in greater detail on our video is apparently a sort of American Ninja Warrior event being staged with I believe Disney Channel stars.
This stage isn’t really used for anything but character appearances, but it has been decked out for the holidays.
A couple of photos of Tron construction from different angles.
Here at Be Our Guest we talk about the option on the Disney dining reservation app to get into a queue for walk-in formal dining.
Backside of Cinderella Castle has holiday decorations.
“it’s a small world” has a construction draping that is more colorful than the actual facade.
Does anyone else miss having this restaurant open?
The Rivers of America are being drained.
Frontierland Shootin’ Gallery is one of many attractions/offerings that are not currently open.
Holiday decorations for even the Country Bear Jamboree.
Splash Mountain not only temporarily down, but you can see the adjoining pond as emptied and muddied.
Great little getaway from everyone is Tortuga Tavern. Our video and podcast takes a little tour.
Jingle Cruise has returned to Adventureland for the holidays!
A good size crowd awaits visiting the attraction.
Returning to Main Street
Crystal Palace is closed to guests but its holiday decorations are in full gear.
Christmas Cavalcades have not begun, but Mickey and the gang are still on hand.
Beautiful holiday decorations can be found inside the shops on Main Street U.S.A.
Both Halloween and Christmas goodies are found at the Confectionary.
