This Year’s Line Up For Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
Here’s a list of all that is coming to this year’s event at Magic Kingdom, to include a new fireworks show and a new Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor Halloween overlay
New! Disney’s Not So Spooky Fireworks Spectacular
Jack Skellington from Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” serves as the host of this all-new nighttime extravaganza, with state-of-the-art projection effects, lasers, lighting and dazzling fireworks filling the sky above Magic Kingdom Park. Jack has come to tell a not-so-scary story about how anything can happen on Halloween night. Jack’s ghost dog, Zero, then flies off carrying everyone along on a trick-or-treating adventure, where four friends – Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy – find themselves drawn into a mysterious haunted house. Their journey takes them from one room of the house to another, encountering dancing skeletons, waltzing ghosts and a whole series of troublemaking Disney villains.
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular
The Sanderson Sisters and Disney villains like Maleficent, Dr. Facilier and Oogie Boogie take to Cinderella Castle Stage for their popular live show.
Mickey’s Boo-to-You Parade
This happens nightly and features Disney characters dressed in their Halloween best, along with the Disney villains and a cavalcade of fiendishly fun floats. Be there early to see the Headless Horseman moving down the parade path.
This year they’ve added some additional floats themed to Incredibles and Buzz Lightyear.
Storybook Circus Disney Junior Jam.
This is the spot for all of the young party goers to get their groove on with favorite Disney Junior characters like Doc McStuffins and Vampirina. Nancy Clancy of “Fancy Nancy” will also join. It takes place back in this corner of Fantasyland.
Monstrous Scream-O-Ween Ball
The monsters of Monsters Inc host a get together at the Tomorrowland stage where they can hopefully help everyone put on their best scream.
DescenDANCE Party
Guests can hit to the dance floor for a DescenDANCE party based on the villainous kids of Descendants. This will take over the stage at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café.
Cactus-Flower Cate
Cactus-Flower Cate rounds up youngsters for the “Frontierland Costume Promenade,” encouraging them to show off their costumes in a quest for the greatest treasure in the land – candy! The “Frontierland Costume Promenade” takes place just prior to each run of Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade.
