Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge Opens!

Crowds Gather Early on Opening Day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

I arrived at 4:45 am on August 29th, 2019 to see the guests visit Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge on its first official day. Wow! What an event. Guests and Disney Cast Members were excited. We have videos and photos to show you!

Below are my first impressions of how Disney handled the crowds coming into the park and heading toward Galaxy’s Edge.

We’ll see how the days and weeks ahead turn out, but for right now, this is a very popular place here at Walt Disney World.
