Global Disney Parks

Disney at Play has a love of all things Disney everywhere! We want to bring some of those adventures to you! Let’s summarize some of the amazing experiences out there.

Tokyo Disney Resort was the first international park created. Yet, it’s not owned by Disney–it’s owned by the Oriental Land Company. That said, you wouldn’t know it when you get there. It’s all things Disney, and in a way that is perhaps more amazing than Disney itself. There are two parks. The first is Tokyo Disneyland. Imagine taking the best of Magic Kingdom and Disneyland and putting it into one park! That’s what it looks like. Then imagine adding another park that was even more amazing than that! That’s where Tokyo Disney Sea comes in. Both are wow experiences that you must put on your bucket list!

Did you know that more people visit Disneyland Paris than the Eiffel tower or any other European destination? Yes, Disneyland Paris Resort has a controversial past. It didn’t seem too well received by the French, and it dealt with money problems for years. But now the Walt Disney Company owns the majority share, and it is putting some amazing investment in this park. There are two parks, one based on the Magic Kingdom style of parks, and a smaller park called Disney Studios Paris. But don’t worry…big changes are on its way! Add some beautiful resort hotels, a shopping area and more, and you’ve got a great place to visit.

Hong Kong Disneyland is officially be the most intimate of all Magic Kingdom style parks world wide, but it has attractions you can’t see anywhere else. Plus it has the most lush, green setting of any park. The landscaping is breathtaking, as is the island it sits on, where the resorts look out over the distant sea. There is more to come on this park, and we will cover that for you.

Shanghai Disney Resort is not only the newest resort in the Disney family, but it has what is easily the biggest Magic Kingdom like park of them all. It’s humongous and with attractions and experiences you can’t find anywhere else. It’s a wow in and of itself, and we have plenty to share about this park.
