Disney’s Aulani Resort

Disney’s Aulani Resort

It’s hard to imagine whether a Disney resort could be successful without a theme park nearby. Disney’s Aulani Resort proves it can be done. Nestled on the Hawaiian island of Oahu, this sprawling complex is an experience unto itself.

One of the wonderful aspects of this resort is that it plays to the true culture and artistic heritage of Hawaii. It’s a resort, but it tries really hard not to be just another tourist stop. Here is one example of storytelling found in a 360 mural at the entrance. Click on this link from our Disney at Work site that focuses on the artist who not only designed the mural, but dealt with some important lessons in making key deadlines.

Amazing artwork captures the spirit of the Hawaiian islands.

And yet there are so many wonderful things to do while you are here. It’s pools include a volcano complete with slides.
