Disney’s Aulani Resort

It’s hard to imagine whether a Disney resort could be successful without a theme park nearby. Disney’s Aulani Resort proves it can be done. Nestled on the Hawaiian island of Oahu, this sprawling complex is an experience unto itself.

One of the wonderful aspects of this resort is that it plays to the true culture and artistic heritage of Hawaii. It’s a resort, but it tries really hard not to be just another tourist stop. And yet there are so many wonderful things to do while you are here. It’s pools include a volcano complete with slides.

There’s a dedicated snorkeling experience that guarantees you the chance to see amazing sea life first hand.

Menehune bridge offers a water play area for the young and young at heart.

Waikolohe stream allows you to grab a tube and just float the day away.

And then there’s the beautiful pacific ocean.
