Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway Coming to Disneyland
Disneyland announced that they too would be getting the new Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. It will become part of Mickey’s Toontown in 2022!
Unfortunately, For Disney’s Hollywood Studios, that attraction won’t be opening until 2020. This is unfortunate, in that management was hoping that crowds would be diverted to this attraction, leveling out capacity for the park as others visit Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, slated to open this year.
This Mickey-themed ride-through attraction will put guests inside the wacky and unpredictable world of a Mickey Mouse cartoon short where anything can happen! Once they step into the cartoon world of Mickey and Minnie, they’ll board a train with Goofy as the engineer. Then, one magical moment after the next leads guests to a zany, out-of-control adventure filled with surprising twists and turns.
With an original story and lovable–even memorable theme song, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway uses state-of-the-art technologies and dazzling visual effects to transform the cartoon world into an incredible and immersive multi-dimensional experience.
